Moma's House, a Safe House for women founded by my cousin Maraion Swopes-Douglas

MOMA's house is a Safe House for women who are victims of domestic violence and human sex trafficking.

MOMA is an acronym for "My Own Movement towards Achievement". The name MOMA was chosen because everyone achieves at their own level.

Whenever life gets too tough and you feel you can't go on, you can always come home. We believe each one of us is just a day away from change.

MOMA'S HOUSE is a Safe House that helps those in need when life becomes overwhelming. Programs are offered to women ages 18-25 who are committed to transforming their lives.

We embrace those coming out of domestic violence crisis centers or sex trafficking situations and offer them new beginnings. Our mission is to promote the growth and development of those we serve by empowering them to experience healing and wholeness.

We offer young women needed support to facilitate their new life of independence, build their self-esteem, renew their self-worth, and increase their capacity to reach their full potential.

MOMA'S HOUSE is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization committed to changing the community in which it serves. In order to do so we need your help.

In-kind donations please contact us at 480-309-9853 or info@momashouse.org for a list of items needed.
